Hi,

Windows XP Mediacenter Edition 2005 ist ja laut www.winhistory.de ein normales Windows XP mit einem Programm mehr (MediaCenter).

Hat jemand eine Ahnung, was für ein Windows XP das jetzt genau ist?

Professional oder Home Edition ??

Wenn ich mich recht entsinne ist der Unterbau Windows XP Pro - was aber z.B. fehlt ist die Möglichkeit, sich an eine Domäne anzumelden (was man aber irgendwie "nachrüsten" bzw. freischalten kann).

c't empfiehlt die MCE 2005 in der aktuellen Ausgabe (24) auf Seite 122 als gut ausgestattete und trotzdem noch günstigere (im Vergleich zu Windows XP Pro) Windows Version.
