exec()-Befehl in PHP

Servus Leute,

ich möchte über den exec() Befehl das Suse Linux Mail-Programm ( mail() ) ausführen. Das muss ja aber nach der Texteingabe mit CTRL+D beendet werden damit die Mail abgeschickt wird.

Wie kann ich das in dem exec-Befehl abbilden? Ich kann ja schlecht einfach CTRL+D reinschreiben, oder?

Wollte ich, aber der funktioniert nicht aus irgendeinem Grund in diesem Skript...

Hat sich jetzt aber erledigt, habs inzwischen hinbekommen, da ich den Text sowieso aus einer Datei auslesen muss.

Syntax: mail -s "Subject" Mail-Adresse < datei.txt
