Hallo,

ich bin auf der Suche nach einen RPM-Paket von gtk+ ab Version 2.0 für SuSE 9.3

Die Originalsourcen habe ich schon gefunden und auch schon heruntergeladen, würde aber lieber das RPM einsetzen.

Leider habe ich kein RPM gefunden. Wisst ihr vllt. wo ich es herbekomme?

Updates für GNOME und KDE gibt es über ftp bei den üblichen Suse-Quellen im supplementary-Verzeichnis. Nur bugfixes wandern in den normallen Installationszweig.

gtk2+ gäbe es zum Beispiel hier.

Ich glaube allerdings nicht, dass ein Herunterladen des einzelnen Packetes nicht ausreichen würde. Bei der Installation der Packte würden die Abhängigkeiten nicht aufgelöst werden.

Einrichtung von apt4rpm

Lösung 2:

In YaST gibt man die FTP-Quelle als zusätzliche Installationsquelle an:

protocol - FTP

server name - ftp.suse.com

Directories - pub/suse/i386/supplementary/GNOME/update_for_9.3/yast-source

Nun sollte man mit Yast die neuste GNOME Version installieren können.
