Hi,

weis jemand von euch, wie man einen sql-server 2000 auf windows xp installiert? In der englischen readmedatei auf der cd steht dass 2000 geht nur xp ist dort nicht aufgelistet. Unter XP wurde bei der Installation nur die option geboten, das ganze als client zu installieren.

Bei dem System an dem ich es versucht hat, handelt es sich um Windows XP Pro mit dem Service Pack 2....

Wäre euch für jede Hilfe sehr dankbar.

welche version/edition von SQL server? die SQL Server 2000 installation auf XP Professional lässt AFAIK nur die clientinstallation zu, du musst es auf einer server-edition wie 2000 server/advanced/datacenter oder server 2003 versuchen oder die 2000 Personal oder Developer verwenden. ausserdem wird SQL Server 2000 auf windows XP offiziell nicht unterstützt.
