Access als Frontend für SQL-Server

Hallo!

Ich soll auf einen SQL-Server zugreifen. Dafür bekomme ich eine Stored-Procedure, auf die ich über Access zugreifen soll.

Frage: Wie läßt sich das umsetzen?

Was für ein SQL-Server? MS-SQL? MySQL?

Habe schon einige Verbindungen hergestellt, ODBC an MySQL. Ist nicht wirklich schwer ;-)

Einfach eine neue ODBC-Quelle einrichten (Systemsteuerung), dort den Server angeben (IP, Kennwort, Anmeldename) usw. Port festlegen und schon kannst Du auf den SQL-Server zugreifen...was willst Du genau damit machen?

Kann nämlich später Probleme geben....aber das war jetzt erst mal genug..
