Wie kann ich rausfinden, ob mein IIS-Server läuft und welche Pakete dort ankommen. Die Kommunikation zwischen Client und Server findet nur lokal auf dem Rechner statt.

Und: warum steht beim öffnen des virtuellen verzeichnises von der Standardwebseite im IIS-Admin immer folgende Nachricht:

"Sie haben nicht die erforderliche Berechtigung, um die Seite anzuzeigen"

laufen folgende dienste überhaupt?

- IIS-Admindienst

- WWW-Publishingdienst

wenn nicht, (re)starte sie nochmals mit

- net start iisadmin

- net start w3svc

zu deiner fehlermeldung gibt jeweils eine MS KB für windows 2000 und windows 2003. laut dem dürfte das ein berechtigungsproblem sein.
