Hallo!

Gibt es ein Programm, das Access ersetzt? Ich hab etz 1 Woche Urlaub und habe meinen PC neu installiert... jetzt hab ich vergessen, von zu Hause (Zweitwohnsitz) meine Office-CD mitzunehmen... habe jetzt aber eine Datenbank die ich dringend bearbeiten müsste! Jemand eine Idee? Habe OpenOffice schon ausprobiert... aber irgendwie funktioniert des ned so ganz!

Wäre für Hilfe sehr dankbar! :)

kurz: nein.

lang: bedingt möglich, wenn du via ADO, ODBC o.ö. auf die datenbank zugreifst. du hast dann allerdings nur (schreib)zugriff auf tabellendaten und kannst z.b. keine reports erstellen, ändern. es gab oder gibt dann für openoffice auch noch einen MDB-treiber, ich weiss allerdings nicht, ob der noch weiterentwickelt wird und überhaupt für windows verfügbar ist. jener welcher für linux ist z.b. nur read-only für jet 3/4.
