Samba Mount unter Fedora Core 5 (mit unverschlüsseltem Passwort)

Hallo,

ich greife auf einen Sambaserver zu, der nur unverschlüsselte

Kennwörter akzeptiert (und leider nicht in meinem

Verantwortungsbereich liegt). Bislang war das mit der Mountoption "-t

smbfs" unter Fedora Core 4 kein Problem.

Jetzt habe ich meinen Rechner auf Fedora Core 5 upgedated, wo smbfs

nicht mehr unterstützt wird. Der Mount mit der Option "-t cifs"

funktioniert leider nur, wenn der Sambaserver verschlüsselte

Kennwörter akzeptiert (getestet mit einem anderen Sambaserver).

Ansonsten erhalte ich die Fehlermeldung

mount error 5 = Input/output error

Kennt jemand eine Möglichkeit, dass der Zugriff trotzdem klappt?
