css buttons unterschiedlich IE/FF

Moin moin ...

ich arbeite momentan daran unsere Firmenseite neu zu gestalten. Läuft auch alles ganz gut soweit, nur der Such-Button auf der Seite macht mir noch etwas zu schaffen:

Im IE sind Button und Textfeld gleich hoch, im FF rutscht der button 1px nach oben:

Weiß jemand wie ich es (wenn möglich ohne IE-Modifier (if lte ie6)) hin bekomme dass das Feld und der Button identisch hoch und in einer zeile positioniert werden?
