Habe meine Page (http://www.fabianeicher.ch) durch den W3c Validator prüfen lassen. Leider sind da noch immer noch Fehler die ich mir nicht erklären kann (Ich habe Doctype HTML 4.01 Transitional):

Wenn du dir die Sachen (zum großen Teil) nicht erklären kannst, solltest du dir erst mal HTML genauer ansehen...

aber ok:

there is no attribute "BACKGROUND".

td hat kein Attribut background.. Punkt aus. Lass backgrounf weg und es passt. Wenn du ein bild als Zellenhintergrund haben willst, dann benutz CSS (wie generell auf Tabelen als Layout zu verzichten ist. aber das ist ein anderes Thema).
