DMA lässt sich unter Redhat 7.2 nicht anschalten

Hi,

habe gerade versucht unter einer standartmässig installieren RH 7.2 DMA zu aktivieren.

hdparm -d1 /dev/hda

/dev/hda:

setting using_dma to 1 (on)

HDIO_SET_DMA failed: Operation not permitted

using_dma = 0 (off)

das ist nicht die erste RH7.2 Installation die ich gemacht habe und es ging bisher immer. Ich hab auch schon gegoogeld und dort habe ich gefunden, dass der DMA support dann wohl nicht im Kernel aktiviert ist. Ist er bei mir aber.

Und bevor jemand fragt....ja, RH7.2 muss sein ;)

Wird der ATA Chipsatz auch geschmeidig vom Kernel unterstützt?
