Wofür wird der tmpfs Ordner eigentlich verwendet? Bzw kann man den leeren, denn im moment bekomme ich von Nagios die ganze Zeit die Meldung das ich keinen Speicherplatz mehr habe.

Warum stellst Du eine Frage und antwortest gleich darauf ("google dein Freund und Helfer")? ;-)

Interessant wäre zu wissen, was sich bei Dir im Filesystems befindet, welche Linux-Distribution Du verwendest und welche Anwendungen bei Dir laufen. SAP nutzt z. B. tmpfs...
