Mal wieder ne Frage zu Oracle von mir ;)

Gibt es einen Befehl mit dem ich aus einer Tabelle alle Colums bekomme? Also ich hab den Tabellennamen und will wissen welche Felder diese hat.

ja, gibt es, schimpft sich 'desc'

syntax:

desc <tablename>

DESC funktioniert allerdings nur in SQL*plus und in clients, die SQL*plus-befehle direkt unterstützen. allenfalls kann man auch mal das data dictionary nach den tabellenspalten befragen:

select column_name, data_type, data_length from user_tab_columns where table_name = 'TEST'
