Hallo,

ich habe ein kleines Problem und bitte um Eure Hilfestellung.

Ich habe: Strato Rootserver mit Debian 3.1 / Qmail mit Vpopmail

Das Problem ist, dass ich mich mit meinem Emailclient ca. 10-20 Mal beim SMTP-Server authentifizieren muss, ehe die Email wirklich abgeschickt wird. Dann geht die Email aber wirklich raus. Das Problem tritt mit Outlook wie auch mit Thunderbird auf. Bei den Emailkonten ist die Einstellung im Client gesetzt, dass er sich beim SMTP-Server authentifizieren muss (kein SMTP after Pop).

Leider finde ich auf meinem Rootserver im Verzeichnis von Qmail keine Konfigurationsdatei wo man etwas einstellen könnte.

Kann mir jemand sagen wo ich das bei QMail/Vpopmail einstellen kann?
