SQL - MS Access - Problem beim Auselesen eines Teilstrings

Hallo,

ich muss aus einem bestehenden DB Feld einen Teilstring "kopieren" und in ein anderes Feld einfügen.

Beispiel:

Lagerort: Hauptlager

Lagerart: Lagerware

Kurzbeschreibung: Ring Turmalin 29,76 ct/2 Saphire 1,53 ct - 37 gr

Detail1: (2)Saphir 1,530

Detail2: (1)Turmalin 29,760

Detail3: (917)Gold 37,0g

Detail4:

Artikelbeschriftung:

Ich benötige aber nur folgenden Teil:

Ring Turmalin 29,76 ct/2 Saphire 1,53 ct - 37 gr

Also den Satz nach dem Wort "Kurzbeschreibung" bis vor das Wort "Detail1". Dies ist immer so nur die Länge des "Zwischenraums" variiert.

Kann mir jemand helfen wie ich diesen String mit SQL unter MS Access extrahieren kann ?

So hier die Lösung, die ich gefunden habe:

update art set Beschreibung=

mid(Notiz,

(instr(Notiz,'Kurzbeschreibung:'))+18,

instr(Notiz,'Detail1:')-(instr(Notiz,'Kurzbeschreibung:'))-18)
