Hallöchen,

vielleicht kann mir jemand helfen? Ich soll von einer Western Digital WD200 Daten wie Zylinder, Sektoren, Heads.. etc. suchen und finde nix, weder auf der HP noch per Google.

Sofern der Aufkleber noch auf der PLatte ist, such mal folgendes Zifferngwirr:

CHS: 16383/16/63

Die Zahlen sind Beispiele von einer IBM-Platte die ich hier liegen hab.

Ich denke mal, wenns schon nicht im klartext draufsteht, wird es so darauf zu finden sein.

(CHS steht übrigens für Cylinders Heads Sectors)

Hallo, ja, tut mir leid, aber auf der Festplatte steht nichts drauf, deshalb suche ich ja hier :-(

western digital platten haben immer die gb-zahl * 10 als namen...zumindest die oldschool platten :)

bb steht für 2mb cache

(eb afaik für 8)
