    macht also 12,8 MegaPixel; wo kommen die 7200 her? -> Seitenlängen addiert und dann mit dpi multipliziert?

    Also vorerst, die Inch Angaben sind richtig.
    400dpi * 10 inch = 4000 Pixel
    400dpi * 8 inch = 3200 Pixel
    Dein Denkfehler: Es sind 4000 * 3200 , nicht 4000 + 3200.
    Ein Bild hat also nicht 4000 + 3200 Pixel sondern 4000 * 3200 Pixel was mit einer Farbtiefe von 24Bit bzw. 3 Byte = 38400000 Byte ergeben. So habe ich es jedenfalls.

    Ich glaube ist so richtig, ich habe die gleiche Ergebnisse gehabt.
