    Software Defined Networking für IoT-Anwendungsfälle

    Lightdark hat einem Thema gepostet in Netzwerke
    Hallo zusammen Ich habe eine Frage bezüglich Software Defined Networks (kurz SDN) und IoT. SDN wird nämlich als eine Netzwerkmethodik beschrieben, die einem IoT-Netzwerk helfen kann robuster zu werden, in dem die Netzwerkressourcen über einen zentralen Network Controller an die Teilnehmer entsprechend allokiert werden. Ich habe auch gelesen, dass sich SDN aber nur für ein sehr großes IoT-Netzwerk eignet. Was heißt groß und wann würde sich eine Kombinationen eines IoT-Netzwerkes mit SDN lohnen? Dabei geht es um ein IoT-Anwendungsfeld im industriellen Umfeld, in welcher ein Wartungsmanagementsystem (Maintenance) realisiert werden soll. (Ab welcher Anzahl von Nutzern, Webservices usw. lohnt sich das?) Wenn mir das einer qualitativ erklären kann, reicht das vollkommen aus! Vielen Dank für Antworten LightDark
