Kurze Frage, da auf der Microsoft-Seite und in Wikipedia nichts eindeutiges steht:

Unterstützt die Standard Edition mehrere Quadcore Prozessoren?

Eine wird unterstützt, das ist schon mal klar.

Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 - Editionenvergleich

Der Punkt "Maximale Anzahl von 32-Bit Prozessoren pro Server" bedeutet bei der Windows-Lizenzierung dass so viele Sockel pro Server eingesetzt werden dürfen, egal wie viele Cores in einem Sockel stecken. Wir haben bei Kunden einige Terminalserver mit Server 2003 Standard, welche mit zwei Dualcore-CPUs mit Hyperthreading arbeiten, also 8 virtuelle CPUs (zwei Sockel x jeweils 2 Kerne x jeweils zwei virtuelle CPUs pro Kern), und die werden auch genutzt.
