problem beim formatieren der festplatte

hallo,

winXP startdiskette habe ich erstellt.

format.* wurde vom windows/system32 kopiert.

festplatte wurde neu partitioniert. nun möchte ich sie formatieren.

wenn ich format c: eingebe, meldet:

"this program cannot be run in dos mode"

was soll ich nun tun?

vielen dank!

Installations-CD reinschmeissen, davon booten und dann im entsprechenden Dialog formatieren.

leider habe ich nur suse installations-cd :rolleyes:

Verwende eine Windows 9x Bootdisk, dort ist ein DOS-Format drauf.
