wie kann ich nen scanner(parallel)unter linux einrichten?

mit der SAMBA Bibliothek(en) dürfte das kein Problem sein???

Was hast du denn für einen Scanner? und welches Linux nutzt du?

Ich nutze einen Umax-Scanner (parallel) und die bieten einen Linux-Treiber an (zumindest einen Link für einen entsprechenden Patch). Dort wird auch genau beschrieben, wie der installiert wird.

btw. SAMBA hat nichts mit Scannen zu tun. Du meintest sicher SANE (Scanner Access Now Easy). Und der ist hauptsächlich für SCSI-Scanner ausgelegt.
