Hallo

ich habe mir eine SCSI Karte LSI LOGIC ULTRA 320 SCSI

genaue Typenbezeichnung LSI21320-IS mit PCI-X in einen

normalen PCI port gesteckt.

Das System startet allerdings nur bei eingelegter bootfähiger BS - CD.

Die Karte wird im Bios erkannt allerdings kann ich auf deren BIOS (SCSI Karte)#

nichts einstellen.

Platte wird erkannt und ich konnte auch normal installieren - sehr guten

Geschwindigkeit usw.

Liegt es am PCI-x das das Bios der Karte nicht mitmacht oder müsste ich mein

Bios noch flashen ?

Wer könnte mir behilflich sein - die Platte Bootfähig zu machen - evtl. anderen PCI controller ???

Rechner ist HP XW4000 2,4 GHZ 2 x IDE 1x CD (IDE)

Wie sieht die Bootreihenfolge im BIOS aus? Eventuell ist dort eingestellt dass zuerst von Diskette, dann von CD, dann von evtl. eingebauten separaten Controllern und erst dann von der Festplatte gestartet werden soll.
