Hat jemand eine Idee wie ich einen ValidatorCalloutExtender Clientseitig anpassen kann um z.B. die Meldung zu verändern?

Die Meldung des CustomValidators an dem er dran hängt kann ich einfach per innerHTML = ... verändern. Leider lädt der Extender diese aber nur einmal wenn er beim Laden der Seite initialisiert wird und ich konnte bisher noch kein Object ausmachen das den Extender wiederspiegelt :(
