AFAIR geht das, wenn die erste (primäre?) partition der externen HDD mit FAT oder FAT32 formatiert ist und die platte als CS oder master gejumpert ist. von vorteil wäre sicher auch, wenn der USB-hub im gerät ein 2.0er ist.

zweite frage kann ich nicht mit ja und/oder konkreten modellen beantworten, das variiert nach marke und modell. manche könnens, manche nicht um die burg.
