Salut zusammen,

ich bekomme unter 10.2 den VLC-Player und FileZilla nicht gestartet. Klicke ich jeweils aufs Icon, sehe ich es eine Weile hüpfen, dann ists weg - gestartet wird das Programm jedoch nicht. In der Konsole heraus siehts so aus:

xyz@xyz:~> filezilla

Das selbe passiert, wenn ich wxvlc aufrufe.

Bisher vor Kurzem alles reibungslos, ich behaupte, daß die Programme seit einem Update über das Updater Applet nicht mehr starten.

Was kann ich tun?

Zwischenstand: Es ist wohl ein Problem mit dem aktuellen X-Server. Empfohlen wird ein Downgrade bzw. eine Anpassung der xorg.conf. Ich werds heut abend testen und geb Bescheid.

Der zweite Link hat geholfen. Ich habe /etc/X11/xorg.conf, wie dort empfohlen, in der Sektion "Extensions" um die Zeile

Option "MIT-SHM" "no"

erweitert. Nach einem Neustart von X starten FileZilla und VLC nun wieder.
