SCSI oder IDE?

SCSI-Brenner werden direkt unterstützt, IDE-Brenner müssen über die SCSI-Emulation laufen.

Nehmen wir an, Dein IDE-Brenner wäre an /dev/hdd. (2. Kanal Slave).

Aus dem Gedächtnis weiß ich es nicht mehr genau, aber in etwa wäre die Append-Zeile vom Kernel so:

no-ide=/dev/hdd ide-scsi=/dev/hdd

Danach steht Dir der Brenner als SCSI-Device zur Verfügung und kann wie ein SCSI-Brenner oder ein SCSI-CD-ROM angesprochen werden.
