Hallo,

setzte hier gerade einen Samba Domain Controller auf. BS ist Debian 4.0/Etch.

Meine Frage:

Gibt es die Möglichtkeit Windows-Benutzerprofile Gruppenabhängig zu verteilen? z.B. dass Leute in einer bestimmten Abteilung ein bestimmtes Profil vom server bekommen?

Momentan bzw. standardmäßig läufts ja so ab, dass jeder Benutzer durch die "globals" in der smb.conf per logon profile = //%L/profiles/%u

Sowas geht. Kommt halt drauf an woran man erkennt, dass die User in der jeweiligen Abteilung sind. Evtl. hilft Dir schon wenn Du die manpage von Samba anschaust (z.B. hier: smb.conf) unter dem Punkt "VARIABLE SUBSTITUTIONS". Reichte das?

Ich teste das mal!

Jetzt hab ich mir mal überlegt, dass es auch gehen würde die Profile Workstation gesteuert verteilen könnte: Stichwort "%COMPUTERNAME%"
