IE Scriptdebugging aktivieren stürzt ab

Wenn ich im Internet Explorer 7 in den Eigenschaften Script Debugging aktivieren möchte bleibt der IE hängen und reagiert nicht mehr.

Wenn ich ihn dann abschieße und neu starte ist in den Eigenschaften zwar das Häkchen nicht mehr gesetzt, Script Debugging klappt aber trotzdem nicht (er hats also nicht aktiviert).

Hatte das Problem schonmal jemand und weiß eine Lösung?
