Hallo zusammen,

wir haben hier einen Proliant ML350 rumstehen. Diesen wollen wir als Testserver verwenden. Leider sind nur 512 MB Ram eingebaut. Kann ich in den Server stinknormale 1GB ECC SDRAM einbauen oder muß ich dafür ganz bestimmte RAM's hernehmen. Momentan haben wir 2 x 1 GB 333MHz PC2700 ECC eingebaut und beim Einschalten kommt schon der langezogene Ton und die LED's an den Banken leuchten orange. Jetzt bin ich nicht sicher, liegt's an den RAM's oder ist irgendetwas am Motherboard, bevor ich die teuren Original Speicher kaufe.
