Hallo,

kann man aus Java heraus auf die Funktionen einer C++ Library zugreifen?

Es wäre schön, wenn mir hier jemand ein paar praktische Tipps geben könnte, wie man das ganze macht und was man beachten muss.

Wie Flashpixx schon gesagt hat: JNI ist hier das Stichwort.

Allerdings ist damit ein einfacher Aufruf irgendwelcher C-Libs nicht möglich. Java erfordert zum Aufruf einer C-Library dass sich diese an bestimmte Richtlinien hält. Außerdem sind die Datentypen etwas anders (was du am deutlichsten bei Strings merken wirst).

Das hat zur folge das du dir für deine Librarys so eine Art zwischen-Librarys schreiben musst, welche die Schnittstelle zwischen JNI und der Ziel-Library bilden.
