HAllo,

mal eine frage.

könnt ihr mir bitte erklären warum mit mac-adressen und ip4 adressen zwei verschiedene adressierungsschemata verwendet werden?

mir ist klar das die mac adressierung auf der zweiten osi schicht abläuft.

direkt darüber findet die adressierung der ip adressen statt.

aber warum dies so ist weiß ich auch nicht.

wäre für jede hilfe dankbar!

Weil die Ebene Mac-Adresse noch die physikalische Schicht betrifft, IP aber paketorientiert in die Vermittlungsschicht gehört.
