Hallo zusammen,

ich habe auf der Serverseite Debian Etch (4.0) und auf der Clientseite Windows Vista (Home Premium).

Nun habe ich folgendes Problem. Mein Serverhoster verbietet den Sambadienst auf den gehosteten Servern, soll aber eine Verbindung ala Netzwerklaufwerk über Internet aufbauen.

Was mir als erstes in den Sinn gekommen ist, ist eine Kommunikation via SSH/SCP.

Kenn jemand andere Lösungsansätze oder kann mir jemand schon jetzt sagen, wie ich das per SSH/SCP als Windows Netzwerklaufwerk mappen kann?

Verbindungsinfo: Server 2 x 100 Mbps / Client DSL 1000 - 2000 bps.

Unter Windows bequem einzubinden.

RSync oder (S)FTP wären auch noch Möglichkeiten. Ich persönlich würde auch bei Samba kein Problem sehen. Binde den SMB Dämon nur an localhost und dann dann lege einen SSH Tunnel auf den entsprechenden Port (SSH machst Du dann via Keyauthentifizierung)
