Festplatte neu???!!! funktioniert nicht richtig

Ich brauche unbedingt Hilfe. Ich habe mir eine neue Seagate Festplatte gekauft (30,6GB), diese ordnungsgemäß eingebaut, aber sie funktioniert nicht. Im Bootvorgang wird sie erkannt, aber unter Windows Me nicht. Habe ich irgend einen Schritt vergessen? Über schnelle Hilfe wäre ich sehr dankbar!
