Hallo Leutz,

ich habe heute apache +mysql + phpmyadmin auf ubuntu installiert.Zuerst hat nur localhost funktioniert

localhost/phpmyadmin nicht!

Nach ein wenig lesen habe ich in der apache.conf das hier hinzugefügt

Include /etc/phpmyadmin/apache.conf

Alias /phpmyadmin /usr/share/phpmyadmin

Danach hat auch http://localhost/phpmyadmin funktioniert, aber warum?

Was hat dieser Eintrag gemacht?

Hallo,

das ist weniger eine Datenbankfrage sondern eine Webserverfrage.

Der Webserver sucht Webseiten nur in einem bestimmten Ordner. In der Regel htdocs genannt. Und alles was außerhalb liegt ist per Default nicht erreichbar. Jetzt hast Du mit dem Alias die Regel durchbrochen und ihm gesagt such bitte außerhalb von htdocs nämlich unter /usr/share/phpmyadmin nach den Webseiten. Was allerdings die Konfigurationsdatei macht die Du mit dem include eingebunden hast kann ich mangels Glaskugel nicht beantworten.
