Hallo erstmal

muss nur die Netzwerkkarte oder auch das Mainboard PXE Fähig sein, um über das Netzwerk automatisch Images auf den Rechner zu spielen ???

Hab hier in meiner Testumgebung nämlich 2 uralte Rechner, in die ich neue Netzwerkkarten (PXE-Fähig) einbauen könnte, um über meinen WDS Server Images auf sie zu spielen, aber ist halt die Frage ob das möglich ist ^^

Entweder das Mainboard hat eine PXE-Fähige Onboard Karte oder du baust PXE fähige Karten ein. Das Mainboard an sich hat damit eigentlich nichts zu tun. Liegt an den Karten.

Die Netzwerkkarte muss PXE unterstützen.
