weiß jemand, ob man das Hochzählen der Coms irgendwie unterbinden kann?

? Das geht nicht. Jeder COM-Port hat seine Nummer. Zwangsweise.

Die Ports werden hochgezählt sobald ich etwas neues anschließe und den Treiber dafür installiere. Die alten Ports werden zwar nicht mehr angezeigt, stehen aber trotzdem noch in der Registry. Ich versuche es jetzt mal darüber zu löschen.

Die Ports werden hochgezählt sobald ich etwas neues anschließe und den Treiber dafür installiere.

Das liegt daran, dass Windows die Ports für die schon mal angeschlossenen Geräte reserviert.

Die Ports kannst du dir anzeigen lassen und ggf. löschen über

Nicht angeschlossene Geräte im Geräte-Manager sichtbar machen ? WB Wiki

und dem Geräte-Manager.
