hi leute,

ich suche momentan verzweifelt nach einem Weg die Datentypen für die jeweiligen Columns einer SQLCE DB in VB.NET auszulesen.

Dazu habe ich folgenden eintrag in der MSDN gefunden:

Habe aber keine Ahnung wie ich das praktisch umsetzen kann.

sp_columns_ex ist ein Stored Procedure (SP), die beim SQL-Server mitgeliefert wird.

Eine gespeicherte Prozedur wird mit dem EXEC-Command aufgerufen. Dies wird aber auf dem Server ausgeführt und hat indirekt nichts mit dem Programmieren unter .NET zu tun.

Was die SP macht, sollte aus dem Text hervorgehen.
