Hallo Zusammen,

ich versuche gerade Office 2003 mit ORK-Kit, per Custom Installation Wizard zu paketieren. Dies gelingt mir aber nur bedingt, die Installation ist Silent und die Lizenz, EULA etc. wird auch verarbeitet. Was ich absolut nicht hinbekomme ist die automatische Wahl des Exchange-Servers für Outlook.

In dem entsprechenden Punkt im CIW habe ich modify Profile und New Profile jeweils mit dem entsprechenden Exchange Server ausprobiert, beides bereitet Probleme.

Starte ich Outlook mit dem User der Office installiert hat, ist der Exchange ausgewählt.

Starte ich Outlook mit einem anderen Admin-User ist der Exchange auch gewählt, aber Outlook will ein Outlook-Feature installieren?? (Obwohl ich im CIW absichtlich vorerst alles komplett ausgewählt habe!)

Starte ich Outlook mit einem normalen Benutzer ist der Exchange nicht gewählt und es erscheint das Wilkommensfenster.

Ich installiere als Admin mit ALLUSERS=1

Weiß jemand Rat? ich verzweifle hier.

( Habe zuerst eine ADM Installation gemacht, dann SP3 integriert und dann das *.mst File installiert)

Beim ersten Start von Outlook nach der Installation, stellt Outlook fest, dass kein Profil existiert.

Dann wird die Datei "Newprof.exe" gestartet, um ein neues Profil zu erstellen.Das Programm liest

die Datei OUTLOOK.PRF aus und erstellt daraus ein neues Standardprofil. Die Datei ist bei den

verschiedenen Outlook Versionen unterschiedlich. Ein kleines Programm vom Office-Resource-KIT,

"modprof.exe", ermöglicht es eine angepasste PRF-Datei durch ausführen der modprof.exe

am entsprechenden OL-Client automatisch zu ändern.

Aber genau das mache ich doch im CIW, ich exportiere das Standard Profil nur nicht! Wie hänge ich den dann das exportierte Standardprofil an die Installation an? ähnlich wie ein MST-File?

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Setup\ImportPRF=\\server1\share\Outlook.prf

Then, reset the Outlook FirstRun key to alert Outlook to process the PRF file.

To do this, delete the FirstRun registry value:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Setup\FirstRun

or set its data to 0.
