Hallo,

ich habe folgendes Problem in PHP3 und MS-SQL.

Und zwar scheitert bei EINER Installation der Auffruf von mssql_connect() mit false, ohne, daß eine nähere Fehlerinformation herauszubekommen ist.

Zum Einsatz kommt PHP Version 3.0.16 als CGI unter Apache unter Windows.

Client API ist MSSQL 6.5.

Ich hoffe, jemanden kommt das bekannt vor...

P.S.: Auf einer anderen Installation läuft dieses Script völlig korrekt ab.

hast du ip (sqlhost) benutzername und passwort eingerichtet?

also ich nutze auch php4 mit mysql

und es läuft

wird bei der funktionierenden Version auch php 3.0.16 eingesetzt?

Soweit ich weiss, sind ein paar der "alten" MSSQL Funktionen von PHP buggy.
