Hallo zusammen,

frage mich gerade, wie man Linux (SLES11) Server automatisch updatet.

Möchte gerne vermeiden, dass mir ohne Vorwarnung ein Major Update (meinetwegen des Apache) mal morgens Ärger beschert. Gleichzeitig hätte ich die Minor Updates gerne automatisiert.

Gibts da Möglichkeiten, bestimmte Updates auszuschliessen ?

Oder macht man dat eher so, dass man vom cert die Mails dauernd liest, und eben dann von Hand eingreift? Kann ich mir nicht so vorstellen. Bei Novell hab ich so schnell nix dazu gefunden.

Wie macht ihr das so?

war ja ganz einfach - ich blocke einfach die Pakete unter Software.

Macht ihr das auch so ?

Wenn du generell die Pakete blockst, dann kommen auch keine Minor-Updates mehr rein.

Ich würde eher differenzieren zwischen Produktupdates und Securityupdates.
