Hallo Freunde,

ich habe ein Problem mit einer SUN-Fire V210. Ein Ethernetport zeigt im Message-File eine 100Mbit/s-Halfduplex -Verbindung an.

Mit welchem Kommando kann ich die Konfiguration dieses Ports überprüfen, gibt es sowas wie das ethtool-Tool bei RH-Linux (usr/sbin/ethtool )

Es handelt sich um das IF bge1.

Haengt das Ding an einem Hub?

Kabel sind OK?

Die anderen Netzwerkteilnehmer koennen Full-Duplex?

Das Port des Server hängt an einem Hub ( Netgear DS104 ) , an dessen anderen Ports Datensammler angeschlossen sind . Die Netzwerkkabel sind i.O.,ich möchte nun rausbekommen , ob der Hub defekt oder am Server ein Problem ist.Die Ethernet-Ports an der V210 sind auf auto-sense fest.

Ich bin mir jetzt nicht 100%ig sicher, aber ein HUB wird wohl kein Full-Duplex bieten. Tausche ihn gegen einen Switch aus, wenn moeglich.

Hier ein Link dazu. Die Netzwerkperformanz sollte durch einen Switch deutlich steigen, wenn viele Teilnehmer dran haengen.
