Hallo Leute,

meine Frage ist bestimmt von Spezis leicht zu beantworten:

Ich möchte mittels Laptop über das Consolenport eines Cisco-Switches ein neues IOS einspielen und so im Flash speichern , das es damit bootet.

Mit welchen Tool ( ZOC , Hyperterminal ) und Kommandos bekomme ich das hin? Ich habe nur ein blaues Consolen-Kabel.

Warum so umständlich ? Bei 9600 bps dauert das bei einem halbwegs aktuellen IOS ja Stunden.

Konfiguriere doch einfach einen Port, häng dein Laptop dran und mach das ganze über TFTP, wie der Rest der Welt. Freie TFTP-Server gibt es für Windows z.B. von Solarwinds, bei Unix/Linux sind die schon an Board.
