Mit Hyperterminal einen Netzwerkdrucker ansteuern

Hallo,

gibt es die Möglichkeit über Hyperterminal einen Netzwerkdrucker anzusteuern ?

Und zwar gibt es ja da den RAW Port 9100.

Ich stelle mir das so vor, dass ich eine Socket Verbindung zum besagten Drucker aufbaue und via Hyperterminal einen String zu besagtem Port versende.

In dem String (Nutz - Datenteil des Datagrams) sind dann neben den Nutzdaten die gedruckt werden sollen auch die Steuerzeichen für Druckstart / Druckstopp etc. enthalten.

Der Drucker lauscht auf Port 9100. Empfängt die Daten und macht....

Frage:

Hat das schon mal jemand von Euch gemacht ?

Kennt jemand einen Druckertyp der so etwas unterstützt ?

Kennt jemand die nötigen Steuerzeichen (Protokoll) die man da versenden muss (Doku ?) ?
