Hallo zusammen,

wollte mal fragen was ihr von dem Bios Nachfolger UEFI haltet. Ich bin durch den Artiekl in der Chip darauf aufmerksam geworden.

Was für mich noch für fragen offen bleiben ist, laut chip und wiki stellt UEFI die Hardwaretreiber plattformunabhängig zur Verfügung. Wird bei erweiterung der Hardware, dann der neue Treiebr im UEFI installiert? Und sehe ich das richtig, dass die Treiberunterstützung für Linux damit sehr viel besser wird?
