APC USV mit PCNS Konfiguration für ESXi

HI zusammen,

Ich habe eine Frage zur Konfiguration einer APC Smart UPS 3000 USV im Zusammenspiel mit PCNS und ESXi Hosts.

1. Import der vorgefertigten vMA auf den ESX Hosts

2. Konfiguration der vMA & Installation / Konfiguration PCNS (PowerChute Network Shutdown)

3. Im Management Interface der USV tauchen die beiden vMA Clients nach erfolgreicher Konfig auf

4. ESXi Hosts konfigurieren so dass diese die virtuellen Maschinen herunterfahren können

5. Parameter zum richtigen Verhalten der USV finden / setzen (Bei xyz% tue das und das..)

Habe ich das Prinzip richtig verstanden? Hat jemand von Euch sowas schon einmal umgesetzt und Erfahrung auf dem Gebiet?

Kurzform:

Strom fällt aus >> Schwellenwert wird erreicht >> Management der USV meldet sich bei PCNS Dienst, dieser kommuniziert mit den ESXi Hosts welche die virtuellen Maschinen herunterfahren
