Hallo,

bei manchen WLAN-Routern steht "Universal Access Method". Ist damit nur gemeint, dass es eine Login-Seite gibt, oder handelt es sich um ein Protokoll wie 802.1x?

Universal Access Method (UAM) ist eine Zugangsmethode für WLANs nach 802.11. Dabei ruft der Anwender zunächst seinen Internet-Browser auf und muss sich anschließend auf einer Login-Seite mit Benutzernamen und Passwort authentifizieren, bevor er Zugang zum Netzwerk zum Netzwerk enthält.
