Hallo

Ich suche ein Gerät, welches

a) per USB an unseren Icinga-Server (Debian) angeschlossen werden soll, für den Fall dass der Mailserver (und dann vermutlich noch sehr viel mehr) ausgefallen ist und somit keine normalen Mails mehr auf die Diensthandys rausgehen, eine SMS an diese schickt. Strom muss der Icinga-Server natürlich haben, aber da braucht es dann keine Switche und sonstigen evtl. kaputten Geräte.

oder (falls Weg a zu teuer oder zu wackelig)

B) den Mailserver und/oder den nahest-gelegenen Switch selbst anpingt, und bei keiner Antwort eine SMS schickt. Vorteil wäre: das Gerät müsste nicht im Serverraum stehen (wo der Icinga-Server steht) - ausserhalb des Serverraums ist der Funkempfang besser.
