Hallo zusammen.

Die Firma braucht ein "ISCSI-Datengrab", für VMware ESX 5.1 (bald 5.5, oder 6), ca. 15 TB, Ausgang = 10gbit Ethernet. Die darauf laufenden virtuellen Maschinen haben (per Definition) keine Leistungsanforderung, sie sollen nur Veeam-Spiegelspeicherplatz sein.

Würdet ihr euch für eine NetApp E-Series oder für eine HP MSA2040 entscheiden? Oder für was komplett anderes?

Budget ca. 15k EUR.

Bei HP bekommt man für das Geld auch ein paar SSD mit, bei NetApp nur rotierenden Rost.
