Hallo Ihr lieben,

wir haben in der Schule mit Routing begonnen aber hier bin ich mir noch unsicher.

Ich hatte es so verstanden, dass next hop automatisch der nächste Router bzw. die nächste Schnittstelle ist.

Wenn ich Router 2 habe und er soll ins 192.168.3.0 Netz dann ist der Next Hop laut Lösung 253 und nicht 254 also doch nicht der nächste Router sondern sogar der gleiche Router.

Kann mir das jemand erklären warum es manchmal der nächste Router ist und manchmal der gleiche Router?
