Hi,

ich suche ein (professionelles) Programm zur Datei und Source Code Verwaltung.

Zur Zeit benutzen wir Visual Source Safe von MS. Das kann aber keine Verzweigungen in der Versionsgeschichte, will heißen, ich habe ein Release einer Software oder den Druck einer Dokumentation und will dann gleichzeitig Fehler bereinigen und weiterentwickeln. Zum neuen Release sollen dann beide Zweige im "Versionsbaum" wieder zusammengeführt werden.

Außerdem sollte es mehrstellige Versionsnummern für einzelne Dateien verwalten können.

Kennt jemand so ein Programm? :confused:

Ich hab PVCS nur für Unix gefunden gibts das oder was ähnliches auch für PC?

CVS ist meines Wissens nach portiert worden. Im Notfall kompilier es halt in einer Cygnus-Umbegung, sollte auch funktionieren ;)

WinCVS ist zudem ein sehr komfortabler und dennoch kostenloser Client dafür.
